We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant HR Manager to take full ownership of the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening & shortlisting, final interviewing, salary negotiations, documentation, and onboarding.

This role is critical in ensuring a structured and efficient hiring process, from identifying top talent to successfully integrating them into the institution while ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Key Responsibilities – Primary Focus Areas

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Create and manage job postings on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and institutional career sites.
  • Actively source and attract top talent using job portals, professional networks, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct resume reviews and initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates based on qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and conduct final-round interviews in coordination with department heads and senior management.
  • Lead salary discussions and package finalization aligned with institutional policies.

Hiring & Onboarding Process

  • Ensure selected candidates sign employment contracts, policy agreements, and institutional HR documents before joining.
  • Oversee reference checks and ensure candidates meet all necessary compliance requirements.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support in resolving basic employee concerns and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and labor regulations.
  • Maintain hiring and onboarding metrics for reporting and process improvement.
  • Utilize MyClassboard ERP to maintain employee records, offer letters, and contracts.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in HR, with a strong background in recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Qualification: MBA in HR or an equivalent degree.
  • Industry Preference: Prior experience in the education sector (schools/colleges) is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in end-to-end recruitment, job portals, and sourcing.
  • Strong evaluation and screening abilities to identify the right talent.
  • Negotiation skills for final interviews and salary discussions.
  • Ability to manage employment documentation and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using HR software & ERP systems (MyClassboard preferred).
