We are seeking an Assistant Manager – HR (Business Partnering) to work closely with business leaders and employees to drive talent strategies, employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This role will act as a strategic HR partner, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives, while supporting key HR processes such as talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with functional leaders (Consulting, Sales, Delivery) to understand workforce needs and design HR solutions.
• Translate business priorities into HR initiatives that support growth, client delivery, and profitability.
• Provide insights on attrition, talent gaps, and workforce productivity to leadership.
• Own the recruitment lifecycle along with Talent Acquisition Team for assigned functions – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
• Partner with business leaders to define role requirements for specialized cybersecurity and consulting positions.
• Build strong talent pipelines through headhunting, campus hiring, employee referrals, and industry networks.
• Drive onboarding & induction to ensure cultural alignment for new hires.
• Collaborate on career pathing, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Support high-potential talent identification and development initiatives.
• Partner in the performance management cycle—goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals.
• Facilitate calibration discussions to ensure fairness and meritocracy.
• Provide inputs for compensation reviews in line with market benchmarks and business impact.
• Design and execute engagement initiatives to build a positive, high-performance culture.
• Conduct stay interviews, pulse surveys, and exit interviews to proactively address retention risks.
• Partner with managers on conflict resolution, grievance handling, and employee well-being.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, data protection norms, and internal HR policies.
• Maintain employee records, MIS dashboards, and reports for leadership
• Support audits and ISO/ISMS requirements as relevant to a cybersecurity firm.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in generalist HR roles.
- Strong understanding of talent management, employee engagement, and HR processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
