About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – HR to manage key internal HR functions across the organization. This role will focus on Employee Relations, HR Operations, HR Finance, and Performance Management, ensuring smooth execution of processes, strong employee engagement, and effective people management practices. The position plays a critical role in strengthening internal systems, enhancing employee experience, and supporting organisational effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding
Complete joining documentation and verification.
Maintain employee personal files and digital records
Performance Management
Manage end-to-end performance appraisal cycle across all departments (goal setting, mid-year review, annual appraisal.
Track probation period and confirmation timelines, and issue confirmation letters.
Issue warning letters, show-cause notices, and conduct inquiries
Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor daily attendance, shifts, and rosters
Manage leave records (CL, SL, EL, LWP, etc.)
Payroll Processing
Prepare and validate payroll inputs (attendance, Leave, OT, incentives, deductions)
Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement
Statutory Compliance
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws, including EPF, ESIC, Bonus Act,
Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable labour laws.
Create compliance dashboards, risk assessments, and regular compliance health reports for
leadership review.
Ensure all statutory registers and returns are up-to-date and audit-ready.
Full & Final Settlement (F&F)
Prepare and process F&F settlements within the defined TAT
Ensure recovery of assets and clearance approvals
Provide relieving and experience letters
Office Administration
Oversee office maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanliness
Ensure proper functioning of utilities (electricity, water, internet, AC, etc.)
Maintain records of office assets (laptops, furniture, equipment)
Manage procurement of office supplies and stationery
Arrange travel bookings (flights, trains, hotels)
Handle courier, dispatch, and documentation management
Support meeting arrangements, conference rooms, and events
Monitor administrative expenses and budgets
Prepare expense reports and MIS
Skills required:
In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws
Proficiency in MS Excel and HR software
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
Experience with HRMS tools
MBA / PGDM in HR
7–9 years of experience in HR Operations
