Position Title:

Assistant Manager - Human Resources (Recruitment)

Location:

Chennai, Oragadam


Experience:

8-12 Years (Manufacturing preferably automobile industry)


Role:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment process including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and define hiring strategies.
  • Drive proactive sourcing through multiple channels including job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Manage the complete candidate lifecycle – from sourcing, shortlisting, interview coordination, evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and future roles.
  • Ensure quality hiring within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Strengthen the company’s employer branding and candidate experience.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance ratio.
  • Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth onboarding and joining formalities.
  • Support HR operations and employee lifecycle activities including joining formalities and documentation.
  • Assist in implementation of HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR programs.
  • Maintain HR records, MIS reports, and recruitment dashboards.
  • Coordinate with HR team on performance management, training initiatives, and other HR projects when required.


Must haves

  • Graduation plus MBA / PGDM in Human Resources/ MSW- LWPMIR
  • Experience in Non IT recruitment 7-12years
  • Good scores (average 60%) throughout the career
  • Fluency in MS- Office
  • Expertise in advance Excel and Power point
  • Fluency and command over spoken and written English
  • Experience working in an International organization in the last 5 years
  • Working knowledge on ERP in manufacturing process (MRP)
  • Knowledge on IATF requirements for HR process

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop market or influence others inside and outside the organisation to take specific actions
  • Sound knowledge of Current HR / Business Processes / Labour Laws
