Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sonipat. This role involves managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding processes. The Assistant Manager HR will oversee employee life cycle processes such as induction, performance management support, HR documentation, and maintenance of employee records. Daily responsibilities include handling employee relations, addressing queries, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting HR policies and compliance with labor laws. The role also requires collaboration with plant leadership on workforce planning, attendance and payroll data coordination, and implementation of HR best practices to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within packaging or related sectors.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory compliances, and HR policies applicable to factory and office settings.
- Ability to manage HR documentation, maintain accurate employee records, and coordinate with payroll and finance teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR-related software or HRIS tools for data management and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualification in HR is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and support both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operations.
