Assistant Manager – HR Statutory Compliance (Construction Industry)

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HR Statutory Compliance to manage end‑to‑end labour compliance across multiple construction projects and group companies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in CLRA, BOCW, ISMW, EC, EPF, and ESI, along with a deep understanding of contractor workforce management in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure 100% compliance under CLRA, BOCW, ISMW, EC, EPF & ESI across all project sites
• Manage contractor registration, licensing, wage compliance, muster rolls, and statutory records
• Handle BOCW cess calculation, remittance, and worker welfare board benefits
• Oversee migrant worker documentation and statutory entitlements
• Manage monthly EPF/ESI filings, inspections, audits, and employee grievance resolution
• Coordinate with site HR, safety teams, and project managers for compliance readiness
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation, trackers, and compliance dashboards
• Liaise with labour authorities and support closure of notices and inspections
Requirements
• Graduate/Post‑graduate in HR or related field
• 4–8 years of statutory compliance experience in construction or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and contractor compliance
• Ability to manage multiple sites and vendors
• Good documentation, coordination, and audit‑handling skills
