The role
As an RTR Finance Manager, you will manage the RTR finance operations within GBS for Europe for Financial reporting process, including specifically Lease accounting, performing Lease control, accounts reconciliation execution, and journals processing.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, and accounts reconciliations.
- Ensure on-time and in-full periodic lease accounting, particularly IFRS16 and lease control execution
- Oversee and perform account reconciliation, specifically but not limited to payroll reconciliation, and other balance sheet or income statement accounts
- Assist in managing Treasury cash flow management and data collection process
- Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, including financial reporting.
- Possessing a transformational mindset and being open to adopting ideas that contribute to process improvements in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with local finance team and other departments to provide insights on operational deliverables and areas for improvements
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices and apply this knowledge to daily tasks.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience and proficiency in IFRS 16 – Lease accounting process.
- Finance graduate with at least 5-7 year experience in Finance department.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Good command of English – Read, Write, Converse.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Blackline or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Functional knowledge & working experience in Record to Report processes in SAP/S4H, strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Knowledge on financial compliance, and internal controls.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team management skills and experience.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding and solid application of analytical tools – Power BI; Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects
- Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
- Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
