A corporate hospital is looking for Sr. Accountant for upcoming unit in Shilong/Tura.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Finance role based in Tura. The Assistant Manager Finance will support financial planning and analysis, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and monitor financial performance against established targets. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The role involves coordinating with internal departments, supporting statutory and internal audits, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and helping streamline financial processes and controls. The Assistant Manager Finance will also contribute to cash flow management, cost tracking, and financial data accuracy to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost monitoring in a corporate or healthcare-related environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear reports, and present insights to management in a concise, actionable manner.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences industries is preferred but not mandatory.
