Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Manager Finance, based in Pune. The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include budget planning, financial reporting, cost control, and assisting with audits. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions will also be a key aspect of the role.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow Financial policies.
- Monitor budgets for Capital and Operational expenses and highlight the deviations.
- Publish Monthly P&L and cash flow. Financial analysis dashboard.
- Daily entries in Tally/ Zoho as per defined chart of accounts and following GAAP.
- Audit ready at any moment of time.
- Regular payments of GST (M+1month) and close monitoring of advance Income Tax. (Tax Planning)
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and making their payments as committed.
- Receivables management.
- Generate funds from bank at the competitive rates for funding of capital expenditure and manage FA depreciation.
- Generate cash flow statement.
- Financial documentation.
- Employee payments following rules of EPF, IT and other statutory.
- Managing Bank reconciliations. g/l balancing and balance sheet.
- Help conducting internal audits and find leakages.
- Handle TDS, GST and other payments and returns in time without help of external agency.
- Petty cash management.
- Control all above aspects for all locations.
- Coordinate with CA and CS firms.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience of minimum 3 years with proficiency in financial management, including preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and cost control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications like CPA/CA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance regulations, and audit processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in financial software, tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Experience with team collaboration and leadership in a professional finance environment
