Role Summary
The Assistant Manager – Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, tax filings, and financial reporting. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in invoice accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, and advanced Excel skills.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Invoice Management
- Accurate recording and verification of vendor and customer invoices
- Ensure timely booking of expenses and revenue entries
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts and ledger scrutiny
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Taxation & Compliance
- Handling TDS calculation, deduction, and timely deposit
- Preparation and filing support for GST returns
- Support Income Tax compliance and coordination with consultants
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review
- Support internal and statutory audits
- Ensure strong internal financial controls
Excel & Data Management
- Use advanced Excel functions
- Maintain financial trackers and dashboards
- Improve reporting automation and efficiency
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Invoice Accounting and Ledger Management
- Hands-on experience in TDS, GST, and Income Tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Key Deliverables
- Accurate and timely invoice recording
- Zero non-compliance in TDS and GST filings
- Timely closure of monthly financials
- Clean audit records and reconciled ledgers
- Efficient and structured MIS reporting
Preferred Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts
- Experience in Healthcare industry preferred
- Strong exposure to statutory compliance and financial reporting
- Ability to work in high-growth and dynamic environments
