Role Description The Assistant Manager Event Operations and Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing school events, workshops, and parent engagement activities that reflect Teerth Preschool’s educational philosophy. The position involves coordinating logistics, managing event operations, and ensuring high-quality experiences for children, families, and partners. The Assistant Manager will also drive event-related sales and admissions initiatives, including lead generation, follow-ups, and relationship-building with prospective parents. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with stakeholders, monitoring budgets and resources, preparing reports on event performance and sales outcomes, and collaborating with academic and administrative teams to align events with the preschool’s goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills to oversee event logistics, resource allocation, and day-to-day processes.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with parents, children, staff, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to design, coordinate, and execute school events, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage event costs, track expenses, and optimize resources while meeting financial targets.
- Relevant experience in preschool, education, hospitality, or event management environments is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to work on-site in a dynamic setting.
- Comfort with basic sales activities, lead management, and use of digital tools or CRM systems is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
