About AMPYR GTC:
AMPYR Energy’s Global Technology Centre (GTC) is a New Delhi–based hub supporting global renewable energy projects across Europe and the USA. It focuses on engineering, design, procurement, and investment support for solar and renewable energy platforms.
Role Overview:
We are hiring an Engineering to support solar PV projects across international markets. The role involves design optimization, technical due diligence, and coordination across project stakeholders. The position reports to the Senior Manager – Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and review PV plant design (layout, cable sizing, DC/AC systems)
- Finalize grid connection architecture with DNOs
- Coordinate with OEMs for latest technologies
- Engage with EPCs and review pre-bid and construction drawings
- Review SLDs, protection schemes, and engineering calculations
- Perform energy yield analysis (EYA) and optimize generation
- Lead technical due diligence, risk analysis, and M&A support
- Support O&M for operational plants
Education:
- B.Tech or Mtech. (Electrical)
Experience:
- 6-8 years in renewable energy (solar PV preferred)
- Experience with EPC/consultancy in ground-mounted solar projects
- Ability to independently handle design-related activities
Skills:
- Knowledge of international renewable energy standards (EU/USA/AUS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
