Role: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Application Engineering & Development (from Industrial Automation required)
Number of years of experience:
Total 7~10 years of experience in the field of Industrial Automation
Base Location: Gurgaon
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and configure PLC and Motion control systems for automation equipment to meet operational needs.
- Debug, test, and validate control logic to ensure performance standards are achieved.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate PLCs into broader control systems, including HMI interfaces.
- Analyze and optimize existing control logic to improve efficiency, accuracy, and system reliability.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions, identifying and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Handle complex technical issues & critical customer escalations.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming specifically Codesys and Knowledge of industry standards, such as IEC 61131-3, for PLC programming.
- Expertise in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.
- Expertise in Servo Drive and Servo Motors such as operations and Tuning.
- Experience with real-time system debugging, control loop tuning, and signal processing.
- In-depth understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Ethercat, Profinet).
- Ability to design and implement complex control architectures involving multiple PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
- Experience integrating PLCs with motion control, and advanced HMI systems
