Role Description
The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Strategic Sourcing will oversee sourcing strategies and processes to ensure cost efficiency, supplier optimization, and alignment with the organization's objectives. Key responsibilities include supplier sourcing and evaluation, procurement planning, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also involves supporting cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik.
Qualifications
- Expertise in supplier sourcing, procurement planning, and contract negotiations
- Strong knowledge in supplier performance evaluation and vendor management
- Proficiency in strategic sourcing techniques and supply chain optimization
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
- Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software is a plus
