Role: Assistant manager, Content Developer, Marketing & Communications
We are looking for an experienced Content Developer to shape and elevate Plakshas storytelling across platforms. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for a strong writer-editor who can independently conceptualize, create, and drive powerful pull-content aligned to the brand’s strategy.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with execution excellence — someone who can translate institutional priorities into compelling narratives while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure impact and consistency.
Reporting to: Content Lead - Brand & Communications
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution
Conceptualize, write, and edit high-quality content across all channels — website, social media, emailers, newsletters, video scripts, brochures, campaigns, and more.
Translate the brand’s pull-content strategy (defined jointly with senior leadership) into clear, compelling storytelling outputs. Craft long-form and short-form content that reflects depth, clarity, and emotional resonance.
Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual alignment across all communication materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with design, digital marketing, admissions, advancement, and academic teams to conceptualize and deliver cohesive campaigns.
Translate complex ideas from faculty and user teams into accessible, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
Serve as a strategic thought partner in campaign ideation and brand storytelling.
Quality & Brand Stewardship
Uphold the highest standards of editorial excellence, clarity, and brand voice.
Ensure all communication reflects Plaksha’s mission and long-term institutional vision.
Take full ownership of content deliverables — ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and excellence.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of professional experience in content creation, editing, or communications.
- Proven track record of independently managing diverse content formats-long-form, short-form, print, digital, social, and multimedia.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to tone, structure, and brand voice.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
- Exposure to education, technology, or mission-driven sectors is an advantage.
