Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Structural Design and Analysis: Review and validate civil and structural designs, drawings, and calculations to ensure robustness and compliance with relevant codes and standards applicable to power generation infrastructure.
- Site Supervision: Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and environmental considerations in line with Adani’s sustainability goals.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants for procurement, contract administration, and resolution of technical issues to maintain high standards and timely delivery.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure all civil works meet Adani’s stringent quality standards and statutory regulations.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Champion HSE practices on site, conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to both legal and Adani’s internal safety protocols to foster a zero-incident culture.
- Cost Management and Reporting: Monitor project costs, prepare progress reports, and assist in budgeting processes to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, encouraging professional growth and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project stakeholders including internal departments, regulatory bodies, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progress and compliance with all requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, sustainability enhancements, and application of latest construction technologies within civil works for power projects.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous project documentation including drawings, reports, compliance records, and correspondence to support audit and future reference.
- Adherence to Corporate Values: Uphold Adani’s core values of integrity, transparency, and responsibility in all civil engineering activities and interpersonal interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree or higher qualification will be an added advantage.
