You support our team as

Assistant Manager - Business Development , North (F/M/D)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular market study to identify the industry trends, customer demand, product portfolio and competition.
  • Provide insight to the product & sales team to refine strategies with respect to product offerings and customization.
  • Key account management to drive business development initiatives, that includes initiating trial runs, monitoring them and obtaining customer approvals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within customer organization.
  • Understand client needs and present customized solutions to address their challenges.
  • Lead sales presentation & product demonstration to potential customers.
  • Engage in contract negotiations for NBO and close deals in alignment with sales teams.
  • Manage & track opportunity pipeline to ensure consistent follow ups, deal progression and accurate forecasting.
  • Achieve annual and monthly sales targets and gross margin for the region.
  • Execute set operating strategy for that period by product, customer and ensures that the team is aligned to the same.
  • Publish report on opportunity pipeline, conversion rates and achievements.
  • Collaborating with sales and lab teams for product trials, proto-order delivery and handover once the customer places order for the regular business to the sale team.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of industry experience with education qualification of BSc/MSc Chemistry / Engineering degree in Chemistry.
  • Industry Experience: Electro Plating Industry with Zinc, Zinc alloys, Passivation & topcoats
