Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth by managing the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOI), tenders, and proposals, specifically for projects funded by international financial institutions such as the World Bank, ADB, and AfDB. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of Expressions of Interest (EOI) and proposals in response to tenders/RFPs.
• Thoroughly review and study tender/RFP documents to ensure full understanding of requirements and compliance.
• Raise queries and seek clarifications on tender/RFP documents from clients as necessary.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information.
• Prepare both technical and financial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
• Submit proposals in a timely manner, adhering to deadlines and submission guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with tender opportunities on GEM portals and other relevant tendering platforms.
• Familiarity with international funding agencies (e.g., World Bank, ADB, AfDB) and their specific requirements for proposal preparation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in formatting and structuring proposals and documents to meet high-quality standards.
• Proven experience in the preparation of proposals and EOIs for large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly those funded by international development agencies.
• Strong command of spoken and written English, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Experience working with international financing institutions (World Bank, ADB, AfDB) and understanding of their project funding processes.
• Candidates with a background in infrastructure consultancy will be preferred.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Graduate in any relevant discipline is a must.
