Job Title: Asst. Manager – Digital Planning & Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic digital planner with expertise across biddable and non-biddable media ecosystems. This role will focus on building integrated, full-funnel digital plans and driving operational excellence across campaigns, while working closely with activation teams for execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Integrated Digital Media Planning
  • Lead development of full-funnel media plans spanning biddable (Search, Social) and non-biddable (OTT, YouTube, Programmatic, Direct Buys)
  • Apply strong planning principles across audience definition, channel mix, phasing, and budget allocation
  • Build market-specific and audience-led strategies based on consumer behavior and category insights
  • Leverage planning and forecasting tools to create data-backed, scalable plans
  • Cross-Channel Strategy & Orchestration
  • Ensure cohesive storytelling and role clarity across channels (awareness → consideration → conversion)
  • Define channel roles, KPIs, and success metrics across biddable and non-biddable platforms
  • Drive synergy between upper-funnel and performance-led activities
  • Campaign Operations & Governance
  • Own campaign planning, rollout frameworks, and timelines
  • Collaborate with activation teams to ensure accurate and efficient execution
  • Maintain consistency in tracking, tagging, and reporting structures across channels
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflows
  • Biddable & Non-Biddable Oversight (Strategic)
  • Provide strategic direction for:
  • Biddable: Google Ads, Paid Social (Meta, etc.)
  • Non-biddable: OTT platforms, YouTube reservations, Programmatic, Direct Media Buys
  • Guide teams on budget splits, audience strategies, and optimization frameworks
  • Ensure all channels are aligned to overall campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Performance & Insights
  • Analyze cross-channel performance to derive holistic insights and learning agendas
  • Translate data into actionable planning recommendations for future campaigns
  • Establish measurement frameworks including reach, frequency, engagement, and conversions
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a key POC for planning discussions with internal teams and clients
  • Collaborate with creative, analytics, and activation teams for seamless delivery
  • Mentor junior team members on integrated planning approaches


Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in digital media planning (agency preferred)
  • Strong experience across both:
  • Biddable media (Search, Paid Social) – from a planning/strategy lens
  • Non-biddable media (OTT, YouTube, Programmatic, Direct Buys)
  • Solid understanding of full-funnel media strategy and cross-channel integration
  • Experience with planning tools, reach & frequency forecasting, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to convert data into insightful narratives
  • Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools


Good to Have

  • Exposure to regional/state-level planning and market prioritization
  • Familiarity with attribution models and consumer journey mapping
  • Experience in categories like consumer durables, retail, or D2C
