Job details:
- Generate banquet business for weddings, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, social gatherings, and celebrations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual banquet revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct sales, referrals, event planners, wedding planners, and corporate accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and business development activities.
- Handle banquet enquiries received through calls, emails, websites, social media, and walk-ins.
- Understand client requirements, including event dates, guest count, budget, venue preferences, and event objectives.
- Conduct hotel and banquet venue show-rounds/site inspections for prospective clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of enquiries
- Prepare customized proposals, banquet packages, and quotations.
- Negotiate rates and contractual terms while maximizing hotel revenue.
- Coordinate contract issuance, event confirmations, and payment follow-ups.
- Upsell banquet services, food and beverage packages, accommodation, and other hotel offerings.
- Liaise with Banquet Operations, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate client requirements to operational teams.
- Ensure a seamless guest experience from booking to event completion.
