Job Title: Assistant Manager Buying (Menswear / Womenswear Footwear)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Buyer for the Footwear category (Menswear / Womenswear) with a strong understanding of trends, product, and numbers. The role involves managing end-to-end buying, driving category performance, and ensuring the right product mix to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal buying for the assigned footwear category
- Build and manage assortment mix based on trends, sales performance, and consumer demand
- Track sales (sell-through, ROS, margins) and take actions on fast/slow-moving products
- Work closely with merchandising on inventory planning and OTB management
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure margin targets
- Coordinate with sourcing teams for timely deliveries and product development
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, retail, marketing)
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in buying (footwear / fashion retail preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
- Good understanding of fashion trends and product selection
- Experience in vendor management and negotiations
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel
