Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Audit & Assurance, based in Ahmedabad. The individual will be responsible for performing statutory audits, internal audits, and financial due diligence. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements; ensuring compliance with regulations and standards; managing audits from planning to execution; and providing advisory services related to internal financial controls, accounting, and regulatory requirements. The individual will also lead and mentor junior team members while coordinating with clients to meet their business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Experience in conducting financial audits and applying analytical skills to evaluate business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial compliance, and audit frameworks
- Good communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent; additional certifications in auditing or accounting are a plus
- Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to client engagement
- Experience in working with ERP systems and knowledge of Ind-AS and accounting advisory standards is advantageous
- Familiarity with corporate tax compliance, regulatory frameworks, and financial due diligence is beneficial
