Role Description The Assistant Manager will support daily operations at the Guna site, ensuring smooth coordination between production, quality, supply chain, and administrative functions. Responsibilities include monitoring process workflows, tracking performance metrics, preparing reports for management, and helping implement operational improvements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, assisting with resource planning, overseeing compliance with company policies and safety standards, and addressing routine issues that may affect efficiency or quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guna, requiring regular presence at the facility and active engagement with on-ground teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations, cordination, or facility management within FMCG or a related industry; strong understanding of day-to-day plant or unit workflows.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and interpret performance metrics to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks, align cross-functional teams, and support project execution.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders and frontline teams.
- Knowledge of basic safety, quality, and compliance practices relevant to manufacturing or FMCG operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Operations management, engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency with common office and productivity tools (such as spreadsheets, presentation software, and collaboration platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced, structured on-site environment.
