Job Title: Assistant Manager – Pricing

About the Job
The Assistant Manager – Pricing will support strategic and large-deal pricing engagements by developing commercial models, conducting pricing and contract analyses, and supporting governance processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to modern pricing constructs within the IT services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pricing strategy development for mid-to-large IT deals, ensuring margin alignment and commercial competitiveness
- Prepare detailed pricing models, cost structures, and financial scenarios for complex commercial proposals
- Assist in contract and commercial reviews in collaboration with legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure alignment with pricing assumptions
- Participate in pricing governance processes, including internal reviews, approvals, and documentation of risks and assumptions
- Support implementation and analysis of advanced pricing models, including:
- Outcome-Based Pricing
- ARC / RRC (Annual Recurring Charges / Revenue-Related Charges)
- Gain Share and performance-linked models
- Develop and maintain pricing, margin, and deal analytics dashboards using Python and/or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Work closely with sales, solutioning, and finance teams to support development of commercial proposals and client responses
- Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing templates, tools, and frameworks
- Provide guidance and review support to junior analysts where applicable
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in Finance, CA, ICWA, or equivalent qualification (finance with technology exposure preferred)
- 4–6 years of experience in pricing, finance, or commercial roles within the IT / Tech services industry
- Hands-on experience in deal pricing, cost modeling, and margin analysis
- Working knowledge of Python and/or advanced reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel advanced modelling)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Exposure to commercial constructs, contracts, and deal governance processes
