Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Assistant Manager based in the Pune District. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives. They will also play an integral part in optimizing operational efficiency and resource allocation while maintaining quality standards. The role requires effective communication, team management, and problem-solving skills to ensure success.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and team management skills to oversee operations and lead cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in project planning, budget management, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to analyze workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
- Knowledge of steel manufacturing or industrial operations is a plus
- Experience in a management or supervisory role in a related field is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a relevant field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing technologies and processes
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and innovation
