Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager based in Bengaluru. The Assistant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team to ensure high-quality service delivery, and coordinate with clients across various industries. They will be responsible for streamlining operations, ensuring timely execution of transportation schedules, maintaining fleet performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additional responsibilities may include handling customer queries, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
- Operational management experience, including coordination of logistics and transportation schedules
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges in real-time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Proficiency in using technology and relevant software for transport and fleet management
- Familiarity with compliance standards, safety protocols, and transportation regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field
- Experience in the travel, automobile, or logistics industry is a plus
