Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager at JSW Energy Ltd., located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Assistant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure process efficiency, manage teams, and coordinate projects to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities include monitoring operational performance, implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the strategic development of the unit. The role also requires preparing reports, collaborating across departments, and supporting the leadership team in attaining key performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Strong operational and project management skills with the ability to oversee team coordination and process improvements.
- Proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, safety practices, and regulations governing the energy sector.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and liaise between departments.
- Technical expertise in energy or power generation operations, with a background in engineering being an advantage.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in operations or management roles within the energy sector is preferred.
