;Role OverviewThe role involves end-to-end ownership of Solvency II Balance Sheet production, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all mandated QRT templates in line with PRA timelines. The candidate will play a key role in supporting regulatory submissions, bridging between GAAP and Solvency II, and contributing to process improvements within the reporting function.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review all mandated Quarterly and Annual QRT templates in accordance with PRA reporting timelines.Support the bridging of local/US GAAP and Solvency II results, covering items such as DAC, receivables, and technical provisions.Review critical journal entries and GAAP supplemental information before submission to the onshore team.Perform claims provisioning and reserves calculations, including triangles for Annual QRT submissions.Draft narrative reports (Quarterly, Annual R&A, SFCR/FCR) using Workiva or similar reporting tools.Participate in or lead special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis requests.Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.Primary Internal InteractionsManager – for performance reporting, escalation handling, clarifications, and periodic feedback.Peers/Team members – for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support on process-related matters.Primary External InteractionsOnshore Team Managers and SMEs – for daily planning, work allocation, and ensuring timely deliverables.Maintain clear, diplomatic, and effective communication with external stakeholders.Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsMBA / Post-Graduate in Finance with 5+ years’ experience in regulatory reporting (Solvency II preferred).Solid experience in Solvency II Balance Sheet Production and QRT submissions.Knowledge of IFRS 17 is an added advantage.Proficiency in SAP/Oracle, SAP S/4HANA, Workiva, Wings, XBRL taxonomy updates.Process-Specific SkillsStrong understanding of all three pillars of Solvency II reporting.Ability to work under tight deadlines and drive closure of reporting timelines.Experience in leading or actively contributing to complex projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Demonstrated ability to balance quality, timeliness, and productivity.Soft Skills (Desired)Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.Good organizational, time management, and team management abilities.Soft Skills (Minimum)Self-disciplined, result-oriented, and detail-focused.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team.Commitment to process improvements and operational excellence.Education RequirementsMBA / Post-Graduate in Finance with 5–7 years of regulatory reporting experience.Candidates with 3+ years of experience in Financial Reporting and Solvency II Reporting will also be considered. ;
