About Company
BISPL (or BDO India) is the India member firm of BDO International. BDO India offers strategic, operational, accounting and tax & regulatory advisory & assistance for both domestic and international organisations across a range of industries. BDO India is led by more than 300 Partners & Directors with a team of over 7000 professionals operating across 12 cities. We expect to grow sizably in the coming 3-5 years, adding various dimensions to our business and multiplying the increasing the current team size multi-fold.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute internal audit and risk advisory assignments for infrastructure and construction clients
- Review project life cycle controls across planning, procurement, execution, billing, and close-out stages
- Assess project governance frameworks, SOP compliance, and operational effectiveness
- Evaluate:
- BOQs and quantity certifications
- Contractor billing and reconciliation
- Change orders and variation management
- Material consumption and wastage controls
- Procurement and subcontracting processes
- Project scheduling and delay analysis
- Conduct site visits and physical verification of project progress and controls
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, cost overruns, and revenue leakage risks.
- Interact with client stakeholders including project teams, procurement, finance, and leadership.
Sector Focus: Infrastructure, Power Sector, EPC, Construction, Real Estate, Capital Projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute
- Experience of 3-5 years internal audit and risk advisory assignments for infrastructure and construction clients.
- Infrastructure / EPC / Construction projects
- Project management consulting (PMC)
- Quantity surveying
- Project controls
- Internal audit / risk consulting
- Working knowledge of SAP systems preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential
