Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Accounts, based in Mumbai. The Assistant Manager Accounts will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes, preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and assisting with audits. Additional responsibilities include preparing budgets, forecasting, supporting the reconciliation of financial discrepancies, and collaborating with senior management on strategic financial decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Preparation
- Strong understanding of Taxation, Regulatory Compliance, and Audit Processes
- Skills in Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Strategic Decision-Making support
- Proven ability in using Financial Management Software and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams and senior management
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA inter or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role or in financial services is advantageous
