ECMAS has a total sales turnover of >650 crores INR with >300 employees and three
manufacturing facilities in India (2 in the South and 1 in the North) under the construction
chemicals division.
Role Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounts to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, invoicing, and financial reconciliations. The role requires strong experience in taxation, bookkeeping, receivables/payables management, and statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
· Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
· Handle journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and periodic account closing.
· Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
· Manage TDS and GST compliance, including returns, reconciliation, and documentation.
· Ensure timely statutory filings as per regulatory requirements.
· Liaise with auditors and consultants as needed.
Billing & Invoicing
· Handle sales invoicing, purchase billing, and documentation.
· Generate e-way bills and ensure GST compliance in invoicing.
Receivables & Payables
· Manage accounts receivable, collections follow-ups, and ageing analysis.
· Oversee vendor payments, payable reconciliation, and documentation.
Requirements / Skill Set
· Experience in TDS, GST compliance, and statutory filings.
· Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
· Bank reconciliation experience.
· Accounts receivable and payable management.
· Sales invoicing, e-way bill generation, and purchase billing.
· Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP preferred).
· Good Excel skills and attention to detail.
Qualification & Experience
· B.Com with minimum 5 years relevant experience, OR
· M.Com with minimum 3 years relevant experience.
