About DITT:
Directorate of Innovation and Technology Transfer (DITT) is an Industry Interface Organization at Amity University, Noida Campus. Its vision is to be an effective interface with the Industry to promote, develop, nurture and commercialize innovative technologies of Amity Universe for the benefit of the society. DITT provides facilitating environment for facilitating translation of idea into a product prototype, provides solutions to Industry specific problems and foster combined R&D with Industry Partners to bring market ready products.
Job Description :
1. Technology Scouting, Assessment and Gap Identification
- Identify promising research outcomes by engaging with faculty and research groups.
- Conduct technology assessment and market analysis to determine commercial viability.
- Evaluate technologies to determine their current TRL stage.
- Identify technical, regulatory, and market gaps preventing advancement.
- Conduct techno-economic evaluation.
2. Facilitating Enhancing Technology Readiness Levels
- Support researchers in developing proof-of-concept models, prototypes and conducting field/clinical trials.
- Connect them with internal/external labs, fabrication facilities, technical experts, and Industry Partners
- Help define performance benchmarks aligned with industry standards.
3. Securing Funding for Translational Research
- Identify and support applications for grants, innovation funds, and industry-sponsored projects.
- Facilitate funding for:
- Prototype development
- Testing and certification
- Scale-up activities
4. Regulatory and Compliance Support
- Assist in guiding researchers on standards, certifications, and regulatory pathways.
- Facilitate connections with testing agencies and certification bodies.
5. Industry Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, startups, investors, and innovation agencies.
- Facilitate industry-academia collaborations, technology licensing, and joint R&D projects.
6. Technology Commercialization
- Assist in preparing technology briefs and commercialization dossiers.
- Support technology transfer agreements, NDAs, MTAs, collaborative research agreements, MoUs, etc.
7. Startup and Innovation Support
- Assist faculty and students in startup formation and technology validation.
- Coordinate with incubators, accelerators, and funding agencies.
8. Technology Promotion and Outreach
- Organize industry meetings, technology showcases, and investor interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering / science / management / technology management / Innovation Management from a recognized university.
- Understanding of intellectual property rights, industry collaboration mechanisms, and research commercialization
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to prepare technical summaries and project reports.
Desirable Qualifications
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Technology Management / Innovation Management / Entrepreneurship
- Certification or training in Technology Transfer, or Innovation Management.
- Experience working with research institutions, incubators, startups, or industry R&D organizations.
- Familiarity with government innovation programs and research funding mechanisms.

4–6 years of relevant experience in:
