Role Summary
Lead and drive world-class SMT manufacturing operations to ensure high quality, better yield, and on-time delivery.
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day SMT production operations.
- Ensure compliance with approved manufacturing SOPs and process controls.
- Monitor stencil printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, and overall SMT quality.
- Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) and defect reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate NPI builds, engineering trials, and production ramp-up.
- Work closely with EMS partner teams and Boltt engineering.
- Support implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Analyze production defects and implement CAPA.
- Review daily production, quality, and yield reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to meet production schedules.
- Escalate manufacturing risks with corrective action plans.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes
- Experience with SPI, AOI, Reflow, and Pick & Place machines
- Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone
- PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Validation
- Production planning and line balancing
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills
Experience
- 8–10 years in SMT manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in smartphone/mobile phone manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in NPI and production ramp-up.
- Exposure to EMS/ODM environment is desirable.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
