    • Perform structured research of accounting and auditing standards (US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB, AICPA), including interpretation of complex guidance and identification of relevant authoritative references.
    • Analyze fact patterns, identify key technical issues, and assist in framing the right technical questions before arriving at conclusions.
    • Prepare well-documented background notes, issue analyses, and draft technical views for review by senior leadership.
    • Contribute to drafting position papers, internal memos, and structured consultation documentation.
    • Assist in maintaining a searchable knowledge repository of past consultations and technical positions to drive consistency across engagements.
    • Audit Quality Reviews

    • Assist seniors in performing audit quality reviews of audit engagements under supervision.
    • Perform detailed audit file reviews to assess compliance with professional standards, firm methodology, and documentation requirements.
    • Evaluate critical areas such as risk assessment, journal entry testing, revenue recognition, estimates, going concern, and related party transactions.
    • Identify documentation deficiencies, incomplete audit procedures, and areas requiring stronger professional skepticism.
    • Assist in drafting structured review observations that clearly articulate risk, criteria, condition, and impact.
    • Track remediation action plans and follow-up responses from engagement teams to ensure timely closure of quality findings.
    • Contribute to identifying recurring quality themes and systemic improvement opportunities.
    • Training, Knowledge Development & Technical Communication

    • Assist in designing and developing high-quality technical training materials, including case studies, real-life audit scenarios, and interactive learning modules.
    • Support preparation of firm-wide technical updates on emerging accounting standards, regulatory developments, and inspection findings.
    • Contribute to periodic technical communications such as “Audit Dose,” technical alerts, audit pop-ups, and awareness initiatives.
    • Assist in developing quizzes, scenario-based assessments, and knowledge evaluation tools to strengthen technical competency across teams.
    • Support training logistics, content repository management, and participant tracking to ensure structured knowledge dissemination.
    • Gradually build capability to independently deliver internal training sessions.
    • Strategic Projects & Firm-wide Initiatives

    • Contribute to technical research projects and benchmarking studies on emerging accounting and auditing issues.
    • Support automation and efficiency initiatives within NAO and Quality Management, including process streamlining and template standardization.
    • Assisting in integration of methodologies, templates, and quality processes across teams
    • Supporting alignment of audit practices during firm transitions or structural changes
    • Contributing to standardization, centralization, and scalability initiatives
    • Participating in cross-functional projects that enhance consistency and efficiency firm-wide
