Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented
Assistant Manager – Media Sales to support business growth in the India market. This role is ideal for someone with initial experience in digital/media sales, a good understanding of the advertising ecosystem, and the ability to build and manage client relationships.
The candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive revenue across
mobile, web, and performance marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Support
- Identify and connect with potential clients across agencies and direct advertisers
- Support in executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Assist in building a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with media agencies and advertisers
- Work on client requirements, briefs, and coordinate with internal teams for proposals
- Support end-to-end sales cycle including pitching, follow-ups, and closures
- Ensure smooth onboarding and campaign handover to operations team
Media Sales & Solution Selling - Assist in selling digital advertising solutions across:
- Programmatic Advertising
- Performance Marketing (Web & Mobile)
- Social Media Advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Google Ads / YouTube Advertising
- Understand client KPIs and align solutions accordingly
Market Research & Insights
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Share insights and feedback with internal teams
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasting
- Coordinate with Ad Operations and Account Management teams for campaign execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Media Sales / Digital Sales / Business Development
- Basic understanding of digital advertising ecosystem (mobile, web, performance marketing)
- Exposure to working with media agencies or direct clients
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and reporting
Preferred Skills - Familiarity with platforms like:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- DV360 (basic understanding)
- Understanding of performance metrics like CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS
- Prior experience in digital/media agencies or ad networks is a plus
