Role Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager – HR & Admin (Factory)
Department: Human Resources & Administration
Location: E 142 Patalganga
Reports To: GM – HR / Factory Head
Role Summary:The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin will oversee HR and administrative operations at the factory, ensuring smooth functioning of workforce management, compliance, and employee engagement. This role will support factory leadership in driving policies, processes, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:1. Human Resources Management- Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRMS updates, and documentation.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for factory staff.
- Coordinate training and development programs for workers and supervisors.
- Assist in performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
- Monitor attendance, leaves, and payroll inputs in coordination with payroll team.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution at the factory level.
- Ensure statutory compliance under labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
- Conduct periodic HR audits and maintain compliance reports.
2. Administration & Facility Management- Oversee daily administrative operations of the factory, including security, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Manage factory assets, infrastructure, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure safety and compliance with factory safety regulations (coordinating with Safety Officer).
- Implement and monitor SOPs for factory administration and HR functions.
- Support management in organizing events, employee engagement activities, and welfare programs.
3. Reporting & Coordination- Prepare and submit HR and administrative reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with corporate HR and other departments for policy updates and implementation.
- Assist in budget preparation and control for HR and administrative expenses at the factory.
Key Competencies & Skills- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices in a factory setting.
- Experience in HRMS/ERP systems and payroll coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA – HR preferred).
- Experience: 5–8 years in HR & Admin, with at least 2–3 years in a factory/production environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRMS/ERP systems preferred.
