Responsibilities and Expectations:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the conceptualisation, planning, budgeting, and execution of forums, convenings, and other events across both virtual and in-person formats. The role involves managing event logistics and production; coordinating with partners, vendors, participants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery; and developing event-related communications and collateral, including branding materials, concept notes, reports, participant communications, and press releases. The successful candidate will also assist in building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders from business, academia, government, public service organisations, and media, while managing event trackers and databases to support efficient planning and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Political Science/International Relations
- Minimum 2-4 years of work experience
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of geopolitics and geoeconomics
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MailMerge is mandatory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with partners, sponsors, media, and service providers.
- Ensuring accuracy in logistics, event schedules, guest management, branding, and documentation.
- Understanding on-ground event flow, registration management, production coordination, and participant experience.
- Supporting event concepts, branding materials, social media content, and audience engagement initiatives.
