Role Description
The Assistant Manager – Design plays a key role in shaping and strengthening Arpan’s visual communication across platforms, ensuring that all creative outputs are impactful, hopeful, and aligned with the organisation’s values and brand.
Key Objectives
● Strengthen and maintain Arpan’s visual identity across all media platforms, comprising digital and print
● Lead the design function to ensure high-quality, consistent, and engaging creative outputs
● Support effective storytelling through sensitive, purposeful, and audience-appropriate design
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage a team of Design Executives, providing creative direction, mentoring, and quality oversight.
● Conceptualise, create, and execute designs for social media, campaigns, reports, presentations, pitch decks, training materials, and organisational collaterals.
● Plan, create, and execute video content, including edits, reels, and campaign videos.
● Work closely with the Social Media Executive to plan and visualise the monthly social media calendar.
● Collaborate with Managers and Directors during campaign planning and execution.
● Ensure brand consistency, quality control, and adherence to visual guidelines across all outputs.
● Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and quality standards.

● Creating hopeful and child-centric designs for a complex and unacknowledged issue like Child Sexual Abuse
● Balancing creativity with accuracy, tone, and organisational guidelines
Specialised Job Competencies
● Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Adobe Creative
Competencies Suite (Photoshop CS6, Illustrator, Flash, LightRoom, InDesign,
Dreamweaver, Flash, and others), Corel Draw, HTML
● Hands-on experience with Canva
● Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After
Effects, and similar tools
● Ability to lead creative execution and guide junior designers
● Strong campaign ideation for creative routes, translating ideas
into visual language
Educational Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree/Advanced degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
● Relevant certifications or formal training in design or multimedia will be an added advantage
Desired Work Experience:
● 5–6 years of professional experience in graphic design
● Prior experience in a creative agency working on campaigns, presentations, and collaterals
● Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
● Experience in the social sector or purpose-driven organisations is an added advantage

● Strong creative sensibility with attention to detail
● Ability to think conceptually and execute independently
● Sensitivity towards child safety and hopeful communication
● Strong collaboration and communication skills
● Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
● Knowledge of AI tools to support design (not mandatory)
Salary Range
Rs. 55,000 to 75,000 per month (Based on experience and market
standards) + Rs. 7000 Travel Reimbursement + Rs. 2000 Therapeutic
Reimbursement + Rs. 5000 Annual Training Reimbursement
