About the Role
The Alumni Researcher will lead structured alumni intelligence, profiling, and data-driven initiatives to strengthen IIT Kanpur’s global alumni network.
This role focuses on data intelligence, alumni profiling, verification, categorization, and strategic mapping to enhance institutional relationships and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain verified alumni profiles
- Research and identify high-impact alumni
- Segment alumni for strategic mapping
- Support leadership with insights and briefs
- Manage and update CRM (Zoho) database
- Create dashboards and ensure data accuracy
Required Skills
- 5–6 years of experience
- Strong research and profiling capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Zoho preferred).
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Desirable Qualifications & Attributes
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree in Management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in alumni relations or institutional development.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and LinkedIn research tools.
- Exposure to donor profiling, fundraising intelligence, or engagement mapping.
- Strong documentation skills
