Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and talented Assistant Interior Designer for a full-time on-site role based in Gurugram. The Assistant Interior Designer will work closely with the design team to support space planning, drafting construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating on architectural and interior design projects. The role involves executing design concepts, liaising with vendors, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining timelines. Candidates will contribute to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces that align with client preferences.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Proficiency in creating Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of Architecture and its application to interior spaces
- Understanding of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and sourcing
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience or internships in interior design projects is a plus
