Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Interior Designer, located in Mumbai. The Assistant Interior Designer will assist in planning and executing interior design projects by preparing construction drawings, supporting space planning efforts, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The role involves close collaboration with senior designers, providing creative input, and ensuring design solutions meet client specifications. Additional responsibilities include coordination with vendors, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Experience in Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of time and cost management in project delivery
