We are currently looking for passionate and driven coaches who want to contribute to a serious sporting environment and grow with the academy long-term.
Role Description
We are seeking an Assistant Coach / Head Coach for a full-time, on-site role based in Pune.
The coach will play a key role in:
• Conducting structured badminton training sessions
• Developing athletes across different age groups and skill levels
• Maintaining discipline, professionalism, and energy during sessions
• Monitoring athlete progress and providing developmental feedback
• Supporting academy operations, culture, and growth initiatives
• Building a positive and competitive training environment
This role goes beyond simply conducting sessions. We are looking for individuals who can take ownership, contribute to the academy culture, and help shape athletes both on and off the court.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute structured training sessions
• Ensure proper technical and tactical development of players
• Maintain attendance, session discipline, and training standards
• Support tournament preparation and athlete progression
• Communicate professionally with athletes and parents
• Follow academy systems, training methodologies, and operational standards
• Contribute actively to the growth and reputation of the academy
What We’re Looking For
• Prior badminton coaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of badminton fundamentals and athlete development
• Ability to manage players across different age groups and levels
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
• High level of discipline, professionalism, and accountability
• Passion for coaching and long-term athlete development
• Competitive badminton background preferred but not mandatory
