Angel One, created by the UCU Foundation, is a venture fund dedicated to supporting the Ukrainian startup ecosystem. The fund invests in pre-seed and seed stage startups that focus on technology, innovation, and intellectual property developed by Ukrainian founders. With an emphasis on FinTech, SaaS, EduTech, and AI/ML, Angel One provides funding ranging from $50,000 to $200,000, aiming to foster solutions to global challenges. The fund's initial capital of $1.5 million is set to grow through continued fundraising efforts both in Ukraine and globally.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Ahmedabad, for an Assistant Head at Angel One. The Assistant Head will collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives, manage daily operational tasks, and oversee key projects. The role involves overseeing team performance, facilitating communication with stakeholders, analyzing business data, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. The Assistant Head will also contribute to the planning and decision-making processes to ensure the organization's goals are met efficiently and effectively.

- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and support team members
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to contribute to business development and innovation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Familiarity with technology-focused industries, including FinTech, SaaS, EduTech, and AI/ML
- Data analysis and reporting skills to monitor performance and support decision-making
- Experience in fundraising and investment processes is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
