Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Geologist, based in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. Responsibilities include conducting geological fieldwork, creating detailed geological maps, logging core samples from drilling activities, analyzing geophysical data, and assisting with drilling operations. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support regional mineral exploration projects and site assessments.
Qualifications
- Field Work expertise, including navigating and conducting geological surveys in various terrains.
- Proficiency in Geological Mapping and Core Logging techniques.
- Knowledge of Geophysics and its application in mineral exploration.
- Experience in Drilling operations, including logging and data recording.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in geological data interpretation.
- Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to dynamic field conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in mining or mineral exploration projects is advantageous.
