Role: AGM/DGM - Production

Reports To: AVP - Manufacturing
Experience: 12–15 years in Production / Manufacturing (Industry preferred : Automotive / White goods / Small appliances preferred)
Education: B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical, CIPET, TRTC
Role Summary
Responsible for managing all production activities at the manufacturing plant — Responsible for ensuring Production planning, ensuring output targets, product quality, cost control, and shopfloor safety are met on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production to meet volume and delivery targets.
- Experience in managing complex production environments with multiple SKU’s.
- Experience in Injection moulding, Painting process (Preferebly Liquid paint shops), Assembly operations.
- Lead and supervise Department HOD’s, Shift supervisors, line leaders, and shopfloor workers.
- Control production costs, reduce scrap and rework, and improve OEE.
- Coordinate with stores, procurement, and PPC for smooth material flow.
- Co-ordination with sales team for the requirements and alignment of deliveries.
- Prepare and present daily MIS and production reports to management.
- Participate in NPD activities from production side for new model introduction.
- Ensure plant safety and compliance with Factory Act regulations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Experience handling large shopfloor teams (500+ workers).
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Should have strong soft skills (Excel)
