Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AGM – Sales & Operations to lead and scale Cocoon Fine Rugs’ Pan-India sales and operations team, covering both retail stores and project business. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry contacts with HNI clients, A & A+ category architects, interior designers, and luxury buyers, along with proven expertise in driving revenue growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding the luxury market footprint.
Candidates having experience as State Head, Zonal Head, or similar leadership roles will also be considered, especially those with strong exposure in handling multi-location, area-wise, or state-level business operations, team management, and project sales within luxury/home décor/building material industries.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage Pan-India sales & operations teams, including store sales teams and project sales teams.
• Drive business development and build lasting relationships with HNI clients, architects, interior designers, and luxury buyers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
• Expand client base by leveraging personal network and industry contacts.
• Oversee store operations, customer experience, and retail excellence across all locations.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project consultants for large-scale luxury interior projects.
• Ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with brand standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to sales and project teams.
• Work closely with senior management (Director & CEO) on business expansion strategies.
• Represent the brand at luxury exhibitions, trade shows, and business events.
Requirements
• 12–18 years of proven experience in luxury building materials, home décor, interior design, luxury interiors, home furnishing, or related industries.
• Candidates currently working as AGM, State Head, Zonal Head, Cluster Head, or handling multi-location, area-wise, or state-level business operations are encouraged to apply.
• Strong team management experience across locations and project businesses.
• Proven experience in handling large sales teams, retail operations, and business expansion.
• Well-established network of HNI clients, architects, interior designers, and luxury buyers.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and manage multi-location teams.
• Strong knowledge of luxury sales operations, retail excellence, and project business.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across India as required.
• Any Graduate OR MBA or equivalent degree in Sales/Marketing/Operations preferred.
