Role Description The Assistant Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Surya Golden Palace Pushkar. This position supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and reservation handling. The role includes supervising front office team members, ensuring consistent service standards, and promptly resolving guest inquiries and concerns. The Assistant Front Office Manager will coordinate with housekeeping, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, especially during weddings, events, and high-occupancy periods. The position also involves monitoring front office reports, managing cash and billing procedures, training team members, and upholding the resort’s luxury and vegetarian hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong front office operations skills, including check-in/check-out, reservations handling, and guest services management.
- Team leadership and people management abilities, with experience supervising, coaching, and scheduling front office staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS), basic MS Office tools, and familiarity with standard front office reporting.
- Solid problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail in billing, cash handling, and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with housekeeping, F&B, events, and sales teams to deliver cohesive guest experiences.
- Background in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management or similar discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in a front office supervisory or senior front desk role, ideally in a luxury resort or upscale hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak seasons, especially during weddings and large events.
- Familiarity with or openness to the resort’s vegetarian and wellness-focused philosophy, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive guest service.
