The Associate Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing finance operations while driving process optimisation and efficiency initiatives across all areas of finance. The role will focus on strengthening controls, improving reporting processes, driving automation, and building scalable finance operations.
Role & responsibilities:
Process Optimisation & Automation Drive process improvement initiatives across finance functions to enhance efficiency and turnaround time.
Identify process gaps, manual dependencies, and control weaknesses across finance operations. Drive automation and standardisation of finance workflows and reporting processes.
Partner with business and technology teams to streamline processes and improve system utilisation.
Support implementation and enhancement of ERP systems and finance tools.
Controls & Compliance Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and statutory audit processes.
Ensure adequate documentation and maintenance of SOPs across finance processes.
Management Reporting Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements for management.
Preferred candidate profile:
Qualified CA with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience.
Strong exposure to process optimization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Good understanding of accounting, reporting, controls, and compliance.
Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
