Job Summary
Purple United Sales Limited is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Assistant Fashion Designer to support the design team in developing innovative concepts for kids’ apparel and footwear. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are passionate about fashion and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations
• Support in trend research, fabric selection, and colour development
• Help in preparing design sketches and technical sheets
• Coordinate with internal teams for sampling and product development
• Maintain design records and ensure proper documentation
• Assist in day-to-day design and development activities
Required Skills & Competencies
• Basic understanding of fashion design and garment construction
• Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (preferred)
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field
• 0–1 year of relevant experience (Freshers are welcome to apply)
• Strong passion for kids wear and fashion retail industry
• Candidates from NIFT or equivalent reputed institutes will be preferred
