Role Description The Assistant Engineer will support the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, working closely with senior engineers and project managers. Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and reports, assisting with site surveys, collecting and analyzing project data, and helping ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with contractors and consultants, monitoring project progress, documenting site activities, and contributing to quality control and problem-solving during project implementation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jharsuguda, requiring regular presence at project locations and the RGCC office.
Qualifications
- Min 3 yrs experience in designing, cost estimating or DPR related works with any reputed firm.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with engineering and design tools such as AutoCAD or similar drafting software, along with MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project data.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, enabling clear coordination with project teams, contractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, site activities, and documentation efficiently.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred, along with internship or prior site experience in infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, safety practices, and an interest in sustainable and ethical infrastructure development will be beneficial.
